Chanel in Paris seeks a Visual Merchandising Assistant (Internship) to support window and in‑store displays for Paris boutiques.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Visual Merchandising team in the conception and execution of window displays and in‑store scenography across Paris boutiques.
  • Prepare mood boards, scaled sketches and mock‑ups; produce technical plans and installation instructions for store teams and external contractors.
  • Assist with sourcing, inventorying and maintenance of props, fixtures and display materials; coordinate logistics for installations and dismantling.
  • Conduct regular boutique visits to ensure consistency with visual standards and report on compliance and local needs.
  • Collaborate with store managers, retail operations and creative teams to implement seasonal merchandising rollouts and special projects.
  • Document completed displays with photography and update visual guidelines, asset libraries and post‑installation reports.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in visual merchandising, fashion design, scenography, interior design or a related field.
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility with an eye for composition, colour and proportion adapted to luxury retail environments.
  • Excellent organisation skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight installation deadlines.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with store teams and external suppliers; professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Available to start the internship in July 2022 and commit to the project schedule and boutique visits in Paris.

Experience
