Role & Responsibilities
- Translate Chanel’s global visual identity and seasonal directives into compelling in-store concepts and executed retail environments across the Paris network.
- Design, plan and install window displays, floor sets and bespoke merchandising schemes that optimise product storytelling and customer flow.
- Maintain and enforce brand visual standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency across boutiques and pop-up activations.
- Collaborate closely with boutique managers, retail operations, product merchandising and marketing to align presentation with commercial objectives and launches.
- Source, manage and maintain props, fixtures and materials; coordinate logistics and third-party installers for complex builds.
- Brief, coach and support sales teams on visual routines, product placement and presentation techniques to maximise conversion.
- Monitor store KPIs and customer feedback to refine visual strategies; prepare visual merchandising briefs and post-implementation reports.
- Manage project timelines and budgets for visual projects, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to safety and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Proven background in visual merchandising for premium or luxury retail, with demonstrable experience designing storefront and in-store presentations.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and technical ability in three-dimensional display, colour, proportion and materials.
- Proven project-management capability, including vendor coordination, installation oversight and budget control.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience briefing and training retail teams and working across creative and commercial stakeholders.
- Fluent visual communication skills and proficiency producing clear visual briefs and presentation materials.
- Flexibility to work on-site for installations and to travel between boutiques in the Paris area as required.

Experience
Typically 3+ years of hands-on visual merchandising experience within luxury, fashion or high-end retail environments, with a portfolio of executed window and in-store projects.
Education
Degree or professional training in visual merchandising, interior design, scenography, fashion design or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
