Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver an elevated, personalised client experience for Chanel Timepieces & Fine Jewelry customers, cultivating long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets through consultative selling, tailored presentations and cross-selling of complementary collections.
  • Maintain encyclopedic product knowledge across watch movements, complications, gemology and jewelry craftsmanship to advise clients with authority.
  • Manage inventory and high-value stock with strict adherence to internal controls, security procedures and loss-prevention protocols.
  • Coordinate after‑sales service, including warranty administration, authentication, repairs and liaison with watchmakers and technical teams.
  • Execute in-store merchandising and presentation standards for watch and jewelry displays, ensuring brand aesthetics and client accessibility.
  • Plan and support private client events, trunk shows and VIP appointments in collaboration with store management and regional teams.
  • Maintain accurate client records and sales reporting in the boutique CRM; provide timely market feedback to commercial and product teams.
  • Mentor junior boutique staff on product knowledge, service rituals and compliance with brand policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of high-value sales in luxury watches or fine jewelry, with demonstrable ability to develop and retain VIP clients.
  • Deep knowledge of horology and gemology; formal certifications (e.g., WOSTEP, GIA) or equivalent vocational training are advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, discretion and a client-centric mindset appropriate for handling high net-worth clientele.
  • Strong numerical literacy and experience managing inventories, reconciliations and secure handling of valuable merchandise.
  • Availability to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends, and to participate in client events outside normal hours.
