Chanel Supply Chain Demand Planner — Watchmaking (Internship)
Chanel in Geneva seeks a Supply Chain Demand Planner intern (Watchmaking) to support forecasting, S&OP and inventory alignment for the horlogerie division.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support monthly and weekly demand planning processes for the watchmaking (horlogerie) product range, consolidating data from sales, wholesale and retail channels.
- Produce short- and mid-term forecasts using historical sales, market intelligence and promotional calendars; highlight key assumptions and variances.
- Maintain and update demand planning models and master data in planning systems (e.g., SAP); ensure accuracy of forecasts and baseline consumption figures.
- Contribute to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles by preparing scenario analyses, reporting forecast vs. actual performance and recommending inventory actions.
- Collaborate with merchandising, production, procurement and logistics to align demand signals with supply constraints and lead-times.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and dashboards for stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Participate in ad hoc projects to improve forecasting methodology, data quality and planning tools.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical aptitude with attention to detail and numeric fluency.
- Prior internship experience or coursework in demand planning, inventory management or supply chain analytics is highly desirable.
- Ability to synthesise data and communicate findings to cross-functional teams in a concise, business-focused manner.
- Interest in luxury goods/watchmaking and appreciation for product-driven production constraints.
- Professional attitude, discretion and the ability to work within a hierarchical, craftsmanship-focused organisation.

Experience
Internship-level; candidates should be current students (Bachelor's or Master's) with previous internships or academic projects in supply chain, demand planning, inventory control or data analysis preferred.
Education
Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
