Supplier Strategy Intern — Metal Accessories

Role & Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of supplier strategy for metal accessories and hardware components.
- Map and evaluate existing and potential suppliers, including capability, capacity and compliance assessments.
- Conduct cost analyses, benchmarking and contribution-margin modelling to inform sourcing decisions.
- Prepare RFQs, consolidation of quotes and comparative procurement reports to support negotiations.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics (quality, lead time, cost) and assist in corrective / development actions.
- Collaborate with design, product development, quality and production teams to ensure technical and aesthetic requirements are met.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, spec sheets and sourcing documentation.
- Produce clear slide decks and data-driven reports for senior sourcing stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Business or Economics.
- Strong analytical aptitude with experience in quantitative coursework or project work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to prepare executive-quality presentations and reports.
- Organised, detail-oriented and capable of coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Interest in luxury goods, accessories production processes and supplier development.
- Previous internship or project experience in procurement, sourcing or manufacturing is advantageous.

Experience
Internship-level role: current student or recent graduate. Previous internships or practical exposure in procurement, sourcing, supplier development or manufacturing for accessories is a plus.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Business, Economics or related field (current enrolment acceptable).
