Chanel seeks a Subcontracting Planning Technician in Compiègne, France to manage scheduling and supplier coordination for Perfumes & Beauty.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain production schedules with third‑party manufacturers and service providers for Perfumes & Beauty lines.
  • Create, update and reconcile master production plans and daily/weekly schedules to ensure on‑time deliveries.
  • Monitor subcontractor capacity, lead times and adherence to quality and regulatory requirements; escalate and resolve deviations.
  • Manage order placement, change requests and order follow‑up from issuance through receipt, including documentation and traceability.
  • Liaise with procurement, quality assurance, packaging, logistics and regulatory teams to synchronize supply flows.
  • Track key performance indicators (OTD, lead time, backlog) and produce regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Support supplier performance reviews, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives related to subcontracting operations.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of planning records within ERP and reporting tools.

Qualifications

  • Technical diploma (BTS/DUT) or equivalent in supply chain, logistics, industrial production, chemistry or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and rigor in documentation and traceability.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate across internal functions and external suppliers.
  • Fluent oral and written communication appropriate for working with operational teams and subcontractors.

Experience

Typically 2–4 years' professional experience in production planning, subcontracting coordination or supply chain within cosmetics, perfumery, pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing environments.

Education

BTS/DUT or equivalent technical diploma in supply chain, logistics, industrial production, chemistry or a related discipline.
