Chanel is hiring a Style Expertise Manager in Guangzhou to lead styling standards, client advisory and team training for store excellence.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement in-store styling and client advisory standards to ensure consistent, brand-aligned presentation of product and service.
- Lead styling consultations and high-touch client appointments, delivering personalised looks that drive conversion and wallet share.
- Design and deliver training programmes, workshops and coaching for sales teams to elevate styling skills, product knowledge and upsell techniques.
- Collaborate with merchandising, visual merchandising and marketing teams to prepare seasonal product launches, lookbooks and in-store activations.
- Monitor style-related KPIs (conversion, average transaction value, attach rate) and translate performance data into practical improvement actions.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for product, materials and heritage, supporting cross-store consistency and advising on assortment allocation when required.
- Drive client retention initiatives through curated styling follow-ups, personalised communications and invitation-only events.
- Ensure flawless execution of bespoke client services and safeguard brand integrity in every client interaction.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury fashion retail with demonstrable styling experience.
- Prior experience designing and delivering training or coaching programs for sales or styling teams.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence frontline teams and regional partners.
- Excellent commercial acumen and familiarity with retail performance metrics.
- Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to translate trend and product insight into retail practice.
Skills
Experience
Typically requires several years (commonly 5+) of progressive experience within luxury fashion retail, including hands-on styling and at least some responsibility for coaching or leading teams. Experience supporting product launches and running client-facing events is expected.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in fashion, design, merchandising, marketing or a related discipline preferred.
