Role & Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of store projects across the retail network, including new openings, refits and relocations.
- Translate commercial briefs into store footprints, space plans and technical documentation aligned with Chanel’s brand standards.
- Coordinate end-to-end with real estate, architecture, construction, visual merchandising, operations and external contractors to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Produce feasibility studies, cost estimates, project timelines and risk assessments for store initiatives.
- Maintain and update store planning guidelines, technical standards and approval workflows to ensure consistency across locations.
- Monitor project KPIs and post‑implementation performance; implement corrective actions to optimise store productivity and spatial efficiency.
- Conduct site surveys, evaluate retail sites and provide input on site selection and lease regimes where required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Retail Management or related discipline.
- Proven experience in store planning, retail development or retail project management — ideally within luxury or premium retail environments.
- Strong technical competence in preparing construction documentation, drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrable budgetary and commercial acumen applied to store rollout programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and contract coordination skills, with experience liaising with landlords, consultants and contractors.

Typically 3–6 years of progressive experience in retail store planning, retail development or store rollout project management, with a preference for background in luxury or premium brands.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Retail Management or equivalent.
