Store Planning Management Controller (Internship)

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Planning Europe management control team in monthly reporting and consolidation of store planning financials across European markets.
- Prepare variance analysis, explain drivers against budgets and forecasts, and produce actionable insights on store network performance.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, rolling forecasts and financial scenarios for store openings, renovations and closures.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and management pack presentations for regional leadership.
- Collaborate with store planning, operations and finance colleagues to validate assumptions, cost allocations and project business cases.
- Deliver ad hoc financial analyses and proposals to improve forecasting accuracy, process efficiency and cost control.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Master's degree program in Finance, Management Control, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical mindset with capacity to synthesize complex financial data into clear conclusions.
- High level of discretion and professional maturity when handling confidential commercial information.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
Experience
Internship-level role. Candidates should be current students (Master’s level preferred). Prior internships or exposure to finance, management control or retail planning are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Accounting, Management Control, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
