Stones Supply Planning Assistant (Intern)
Chanel in Paris seeks a Stones Supply Planning Assistant (Intern) for Joaillerie & Horlogerie — internship starting Sept 2026.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the stones supply planning process for the Joaillerie and Horlogerie divisions, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts and supply commitments.
- Monitor inventories of precious stones and related components, track consumption and trigger replenishment actions to secure continuity of production.
- Assist in preparing demand forecasts, material requirements plans and rolling supply reports for cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Coordinate with procurement, quality control, ateliers and external suppliers to follow up on orders, deliveries and lead times.
- Maintain and update planning data in internal systems and produce regular KPI dashboards and exception reports for the planning team.
- Contribute to short‑term capacity planning and S&OP processes, escalating risks and proposing mitigation measures.
- Support ad‑hoc analysis projects to improve accuracy of forecasts and efficiency of stock management.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline and eligible for a professional internship.
- Strong analytical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to data.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality when handling sensitive material and commercial information.
- Interest in luxury jewellery and watchmaking, with an appreciation for artisanal production constraints.

Experience
Internship-level role: currently studying with prior internships or short-term project experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics or operations considered advantageous.
Education
Current enrolment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate degree program (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or equivalent).
