Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and accurately process incoming deliveries according to Chanel internal procedures.
- Manage stock allocation and replenishment for the sales floor, ensuring products are presented according to merchandising directives.
- Maintain orderly, secure and compliant stockroom storage; enforce temperature, sanitation and product‑handling standards where applicable.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts; reconcile discrepancies and report variances to management.
- Coordinate with boutique sales, visual merchandising and logistics teams to support promotions, store resets and special events.
- Operate stock control systems and handheld scanning devices to record movements and update inventory in real time.
- Implement loss‑prevention and security measures, including proper tagging, documentation and restricted access protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail stock control, warehouse operations or logistics — luxury retail experience preferred.
- Strong organisational aptitude with high attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, bending and prolonged standing.
- Proven reliability, punctuality and discretion when handling high‑value merchandise.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using inventory systems and mobile scanning devices.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1+ year of hands‑on experience in retail stock, warehouse or back‑of‑house operations; experience within a luxury or high‑end retail environment is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or retail operations is an asset but not mandatory.
