Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and accurately process incoming deliveries according to Chanel internal procedures.
  • Manage stock allocation and replenishment for the sales floor, ensuring products are presented according to merchandising directives.
  • Maintain orderly, secure and compliant stockroom storage; enforce temperature, sanitation and product‑handling standards where applicable.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts; reconcile discrepancies and report variances to management.
  • Coordinate with boutique sales, visual merchandising and logistics teams to support promotions, store resets and special events.
  • Operate stock control systems and handheld scanning devices to record movements and update inventory in real time.
  • Implement loss‑prevention and security measures, including proper tagging, documentation and restricted access protocols.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail stock control, warehouse operations or logistics — luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Strong organisational aptitude with high attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, bending and prolonged standing.
  • Proven reliability, punctuality and discretion when handling high‑value merchandise.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort using inventory systems and mobile scanning devices.

Experience

Typically 1+ year of hands‑on experience in retail stock, warehouse or back‑of‑house operations; experience within a luxury or high‑end retail environment is advantageous.

Education

Secondary education or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or retail operations is an asset but not mandatory.
