Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and process incoming deliveries; verify quantities and quality against delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stocktakes, cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Replenish the sales floor promptly and according to merchandising directives while preserving presentation standards.
  • Operate stockroom equipment and scanning devices; prepare and label merchandise for storage, transfer or shipment.
  • Support loss-prevention and security protocols, ensuring secure storage, controlled access and correct handling of high-value items.
  • Coordinate internal transfers and returns, and prepare items for repairs or alterations as required.
  • Provide occasional front-of-house assistance during peak periods, ensuring continuity of customer service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum secondary education; vocational training in logistics, retail or supply chain is an advantage.
  • Previous experience (typically 1+ year) in retail stock control, warehouse or stockroom operations, preferably within luxury retail.
  • Strong organisational skills with acute attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical ability to handle and move merchandise, including repetitive lifting and prolonged standing.
  • High standards of discretion, reliability and professionalism appropriate to a luxury brand environment.

Experience

Preferably at least one year of hands-on experience in stockroom or inventory roles, ideally within luxury retail or a high-value merchandise environment. Experience with regular cycle counts and handheld scanning devices is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification in logistics, retail operations or a related field is a plus.
