Stock Assistant
Chanel is hiring a Stock Assistant in Istanbul, Turkey — entry-level retail role managing inventory, stockroom operations and logistics for the boutique.

Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and process inbound shipments; verify quantities, SKU accuracy and condition against delivery documentation.
- Maintain accurate stock records and perform regular inventory reconciliations to ensure stock integrity and shrinkage control.
- Organise and maintain a pristine, climate-appropriate stockroom in line with Chanel visual and storage standards.
- Pick and prepare merchandise for the sales floor and client orders; replenish displays promptly to support boutique KPIs.
- Coordinate with boutique management and logistics partners to schedule deliveries, returns and stock transfers.
- Support periodic stocktakes and cycle counts, prepare variance reports and investigate discrepancies.
- Adhere to security, loss-prevention and handling procedures for high-value items; follow health & safety and manual-handling protocols.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support for shipping paperwork, invoicing and inventory system updates.
Qualifications
- High-school diploma or equivalent; vocational qualification in logistics or retail operations is an asset.
- Previous experience in retail stockroom operations or logistics (1+ year preferred), ideally within a premium or luxury environment.
- Strong numeracy, attention to detail and proven record of maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks and work on one’s feet for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual and capable of working within a team while following exacting operational procedures.

Experience
Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in retail stockroom, warehouse or logistics operations; experience supporting boutique operations or handling high-value merchandise is strongly preferred.
Education
High-school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics/retail operations advantageous.
