Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and unpack deliveries for the Parfums & Beauté boutique, ensuring product integrity and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain back-of-house organisation: stock shelving, labelling, rotation (FIFO) and ambient/storage condition controls for beauty and fragrance products.
  • Execute regular stock counts and reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with store management.
  • Replenish the sales floor promptly and maintain visual and merchandising standards in coordination with the boutique team.
  • Manage returns, transfers and minor administrative tasks associated with inventory (scanning, logging, paperwork).
  • Adhere to loss-prevention procedures, hygiene and safety standards specific to beauty and fragrance.
  • Support peak operations (product launches, promotional events) with efficient stock distribution and urgent replenishments.
  • Collaborate with sales advisors and store management to ensure product availability and timely fulfilment of client requests.

Qualifications

  • Eligible for an alternance/apprenticeship contract under French regulations.
  • Currently enrolled in a vocational or higher-education program in retail, logistics, supply chain, business or a related discipline.
  • Strong organisational aptitude with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfort with routine physical tasks and safe manual handling of boxes and merchandise.
  • Good numeracy and basic administrative skills; able to complete stock counts and simple reconciliations.
  • Professional demeanour, team-oriented attitude and respect for luxury product handling protocols.

Experience

Entry-level: previous experience in retail stockroom, warehouse or boutique environment is advantageous but not required; internships or short-term retail assignments will be considered.
