Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and evolve the enterprise risk management framework for the Europe region, ensuring alignment with global ERM policy.
  • Lead regional risk identification and assessment activities, including scenario analysis, heat maps and quantitative impact modelling.
  • Develop and maintain regional risk appetite metrics and key risk indicators (KRIs); monitor trends and escalate material exposures to global risk leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Retail functions to embed robust internal controls and remedial action plans.
  • Oversee business continuity planning, crisis preparedness and insurance programmes for the Europe region; coordinate incident response when required.
  • Manage risk-related projects and change initiatives, delivering governance documentation, training and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate with internal and external audit teams to support assurance activities and remedial plan tracking.
  • Coach and mentor local risk correspondents across markets to strengthen risk culture and capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline; master’s degree or executive qualification preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Demonstrable track record of leading risk management programmes at regional or corporate level within luxury goods, retail, consumer products, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of ERM frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000) and experience applying them in multi‑jurisdictional contexts.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.

Experience
