Chanel is hiring a Senior Manager, R2R Master Data Change in London — lead finance master data governance and transformation for the iconic luxury house.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end R2R master data change programme, defining scope, roadmap and deliverables to align master data with finance transformation objectives.
  • Design and enforce master data governance frameworks, standards and controls across chart of accounts, GL structures, cost centres, intercompany and other finance master domains.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (Finance, IT/ERP, Controlling, Tax, Local Markets) to ensure timely decision‑making and adoption of changes.
  • Sponsor and manage project workstreams including requirements definition, build/configuration, data migration, testing, cutover and post‑go‑live stabilization.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements by embedding control owners, test plans and audit evidence into change activities.
  • Develop KPIs, reporting and dashboards to monitor data quality, programme progress and operational benefits realization.
  • Provide leadership to a team of change and data specialists and drive training, communication and end‑user enablement across regions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline; professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
  • Proven subject‑matter expertise in Record‑to‑Report processes and finance master data governance.
  • Demonstrable experience leading finance transformation or ERP master data projects in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls and compliance (SOX/internal control frameworks).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, executive influence and change leadership capabilities.

Experience

Approximately 7–10 years of progressive finance and master data experience, including multiple full lifecycle finance transformation or ERP master data projects and a minimum of several years leading cross‑functional teams or programmes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
