Chanel is hiring a Sales Intern — Fragrance & Beauty in Paris. Summer internship supporting boutique sales, client service and merchandising.

Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized client consultations and product recommendations for fragrance and cosmetic ranges.
- Support the boutique team in achieving daily sales targets through professional clienteling and active selling.
- Operate the point-of-sale, process transactions and manage sample distribution with accuracy and discretion.
- Maintain merchandising standards, replenish displays, and execute seasonal visual guidelines to uphold brand presentation.
- Assist with stock receipt, inventory controls and back-of-house organisation to ensure product availability.
- Participate in product training sessions and learn brand rituals, ingredient knowledge and formulation highlights to support informed selling.
- Deliver impeccable client service, handling enquiries, gift wrapping and after-sales follow-up as required.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a tertiary programme in commerce, luxury retail, cosmetics, hospitality or a related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a polished, client-facing manner.
- Demonstrated interest in beauty and fragrance products and luxury retail standards.
- Availability for a summer internship period and flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
- Professional appearance, punctuality and high standards of discretion and confidentiality.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and a capacity to learn quickly.
Skills
Experience
Previous customer-facing or retail experience is preferred but not required; internships or part-time roles in beauty, hospitality or sales are considered advantageous.
Education
Enrolment in a university or vocational programme in commerce, luxury management, cosmetology, or a related field (student status required for an internship).
