Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised, high‑touch client service and build long‑term relationships with clientele for Chanel Parfums & Beauté at the Breuninger Stuttgart concession.
  • Provide expert advice and in‑store consultations on fragrances, skincare and makeup; perform product demonstrations and application when appropriate.
  • Drive sales and conversion by executing clienteling activities, managing appointments, and following up with prospects.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and presentation to Chanel standards, including display upkeep, refill protocols and stock rotation.
  • Operate point‑of‑sale systems, process transactions accurately and manage daily cash reconciliation where applicable.
  • Support brand‑led initiatives: product launches, promotional events and masterclass activations within the store.
  • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with store management for replenishment, and ensure compliance with loss‑prevention procedures.
  • Adhere to Chanel’s service protocols, brand image guidelines and internal reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail sales experience in luxury cosmetics, beauty or fragrance environments; experience at a department‑store concession is an advantage.
  • Strong clienteling capability with a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, service‑oriented demeanour.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak promotional periods.
  • Professional presentation and a thorough interest in Chanel’s product categories; prior makeup application or scent profiling experience preferred.
  • Basic numeracy and cash‑handling competence; familiarity with POS systems.

Experience
