Chanel seeks a Sales Assistant (Summer Internship) in Cannes — boutique role focused on client service, merchandising and retail operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, bespoke service to clients in the boutique, managing appointments and clienteling activities.
  • Support sales transactions using the point-of-sale system and ensure accurate cash and payment handling.
  • Maintain exemplary boutique presentation through visual merchandising and daily housekeeping aligned with brand standards.
  • Assist with stock receipt, inventory control and replenishment; prepare merchandise for display and sale.
  • Participate in boutique events and client outreach initiatives; assist with packaging and after‑sales follow-up.
  • Learn and apply product knowledge across relevant categories (fashion, accessories, beauty) and convey brand heritage to clients.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a tertiary education program (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in fashion, business, hospitality or a related discipline.
  • Fluency in French; strong working knowledge of English preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, client‑centric manner.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays during the summer period.
  • Professional appearance and strong team orientation; legal right to work in France.

Experience
