Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily boutique operations during the summer season, including client welcome and floor coverage.
  • Deliver high‑level, personalised customer service and cultivate client relationships through attentive clienteling.
  • Operate point‑of‑sale transactions and ensure accuracy in cash handling and sales reporting.
  • Assist with merchandising and window presentation to maintain brand visual standards.
  • Manage stockroom routines: receive deliveries, process replenishment and participate in inventory control.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to sales follow‑up, client communications and appointment scheduling.
  • Adhere to Chanel’s presentation, grooming and service protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in tertiary education (business, fashion, luxury retail, hospitality or related field) and eligible for an internship.
  • Impeccable professional presentation and strong client‑service ethos appropriate to a luxury retail environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage high‑net‑worth clients with discretion.
  • Availability for the summer internship period and flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required by retail hours.
  • Legal right to undertake an internship in France.

Experience

Previous retail or client‑facing experience is advantageous but not mandatory; prior experience in luxury or premium retail is preferred.

Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme (business, fashion, marketing, hospitality or related discipline).
