Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, personalized client service and cultivate long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow‑up.
- Support the sales process from welcoming clients and styling to closing sales and handling after‑sales service according to brand protocols.
- Maintain boutique presentation and merchandising to Chanel visual standards; execute window and in‑store displays as directed.
- Operate the point‑of‑sale system, process transactions, manage returns and perform accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
- Assist with stock management: receive deliveries, perform inventory checks, replenish floor stock and ensure proper storage.
- Coordinate appointments, prepare merchandise for client fittings and support in‑store events and private client appointments.
- Adhere strictly to loss‑prevention, security and brand compliance procedures; report to the Store Manager on daily operations.
Qualifications
- Eligible for an alternance/apprenticeship contract in France and enrolled in a relevant vocational or higher education programme (e.g., BTS, Licence, Bachelor).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional presentation suitable for a luxury environment.
- Strong service orientation, discretion and the ability to build rapport with a discerning clientele.
- Organisational rigour, reliability and a collaborative mindset; comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail setting.
- Legal authorization to work in France for the duration of the apprenticeship.

Experience
Entry‑level position: prior retail or luxury sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for fashion and client service is essential.
Education
Enrolled in a vocational or higher education programme eligible for alternance/apprenticeship in France (e.g., BTS, Licence, Bachelor's degree in fashion, retail or business-related fields).
