Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients, deliver personalised service and support sales to achieve individual and store targets.
- Develop client relationships and maintain accurate client records to support clienteling and follow-up.
- Present and demonstrate product knowledge across ready-to-wear, accessories and leather goods; advise on styling and product care.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, handle transactions, returns and ensure accurate cash and register reconciliation.
- Contribute to visual merchandising and shop-floor upkeep to maintain brand standards, including window dressing and stock presentation.
- Support stock management: receive deliveries, process inventory, and maintain stockroom organisation.
- Assist with boutique events, private appointments and coordinated client experiences.
- Collaborate with boutique team on daily operations, reporting, and learning-progress reviews as part of the alternance programme.
Qualifications
- Eligible for an alternance/apprenticeship contract beginning September 2024 and enrolled in a recognised vocational programme in sales, retail, fashion or luxury management.
- Professional and polished presentation with high standards of discretion and customer etiquette.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in French; basic English skills are an advantage.
- Availability to work retail hours including weekends and some evenings.
- Right to work in France and ability to commute to the Nice boutique.
Skills
Experience
Open to students or recent graduates; previous customer-facing or retail experience is preferred but not mandatory for an alternance position. Demonstrable interest in luxury fashion and client service is expected.
Education
Enrolled in a vocational or university-level programme (e.g., BTS, DUT, Licence professionnelle or equivalent) in sales, commerce, retail, fashion or luxury management.
