Sales Assistant (Apprenticeship)

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver exemplary, personalised client service and support client relationships through proactive clienteling and appointment management.
• Assist with sales transactions, process payments and accurately manage the point-of-sale system and receipts.
• Maintain boutique standards for visual merchandising and product presentation, ensuring windows and displays reflect house directives.
• Support stock management activities: receiving deliveries, replenishing floor stock, tagging and participating in inventory counts.
• Update customer information and sales activity in CRM, and support boutique reporting and administrative tasks.
• Contribute to in-store events and client experiences when required and work collaboratively with the team to meet commercial targets.

Qualifications

• Eligible for an alternance (apprenticeship) contract in France and currently enrolled in a relevant vocational training programme.
• Strong interest in luxury fashion and high standards of personal presentation and discretion.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
• Organised, reliable and able to work retail hours including weekends and peak seasonal periods.

Skills

Experience

No prior professional experience is required; previous retail or luxury boutique experience is an advantage but not obligatory for candidates entering an alternance programme.

Education

Enrolment in a vocational or higher-education programme in fashion, luxury retail, commerce or equivalent (BTS, Bachelor or vocational diploma) appropriate for an alternance contract.
