Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary client reception and personalised service aligned with Chanel’s brand rituals and luxury standards.
  • Support the boutique sales team in clienteling activities: appointment management, follow-ups, and maintenance of client records.
  • Process sales transactions accurately at point of sale and assist with returns/exchanges according to company procedures.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising and upkeep of displays to ensure window and in-store presentation meet brand guidelines.
  • Assist with stock management: receiving deliveries, inventory control, replenishment and housekeeping of the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Participate in boutique events, product launches and training sessions; act as an ambassador of Chanel’s product knowledge across categories.
  • Ensure compliance with loss-prevention, cash handling and operational policies; escalate issues appropriately.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a recognised alternance (work‑study) programme commencing September 2025 (BTS, Bachelor or equivalent in business, retail, luxury management or fashion).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural aptitude for client service and relationship building.
  • Professional presentation, discretion and adherence to luxury service standards.
  • Availability to work a retail schedule including weekends, evenings and peak seasonal periods.
  • Legal right to work in France for the duration of the alternance contract.

Experience

Entry-level position: candidates with prior retail experience or an internship in luxury goods are preferred but not required. Demonstrated customer-facing experience will be advantageous.

Currently enrolled in an alternance (work‑study) programme—BTS, Bachelor or equivalent in business, retail, luxury management, merchandising or fashion.
