Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily boutique operations by receiving, unpacking and processing incoming merchandise according to Chanel procedures.
- Manage inventory cycles: replenishment, stock transfers, regular stock counts and reconciliation with the POS system.
- Prepare merchandise for the sales floor, maintain back‑of‑house organisation and ensure accurate labelling and tagging.
- Assist Sales Advisors with client appointments, order fulfilment, gift wrapping and special requests when required.
- Coordinate returns, repairs and exchanges in compliance with brand policies and liaise with distribution or logistics teams.
- Maintain visual and presentation standards in stock areas and on the sales floor; assist with merchandising resets as directed.
- Ensure compliance with loss‑prevention and security protocols and safeguard client confidentiality and luxury presentation standards.
Qualifications
- High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Customer‑centric attitude with the ability to work collaboratively with sales teams.
- Physical ability to handle shipments and stock (lifting/moving boxes as required).
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings, to meet boutique needs and seasonal peaks.
- Discretion, reliability and a professional demeanour suited to a luxury retail environment.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
Experience
Entry‑level to 1–2 years of retail or stockroom experience preferred; prior exposure to luxury retail operations or inventory management is an asset.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in retail, fashion, logistics or a related discipline is advantageous.
