Chanel seeks a Contract Sales Advisor at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann in Paris — client-focused luxury retail role on a fixed-term contract.

Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service and cultivate long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets and KPIs through consultative selling, upselling and cross-selling of garments, accessories and beauty products.
- Maintain boutique presentation and visual merchandising to Chanel brand standards within the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann environment.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system, handle cash and complete daily reconciliation tasks.
- Manage stock: receive deliveries, perform inventory counts, prepare reservations and ensure correct storage and rotation of merchandise.
- Provide after-sales support including alterations coordination, repairs follow-up and handling client inquiries or complaints in line with brand policy.
- Participate in product and service training, team briefings and seasonal merchandising resets; adhere strictly to loss-prevention and compliance procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in luxury retail or premium department store sales; 1+ year preferred.
- Polished personal presentation and excellent interpersonal skills aligned with luxury brand standards.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Numerical accuracy and experience with POS transactions and basic till reconciliation.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
- Right to work in France.
- Fluency in French is required; professional English is desirable.

Experience
Experience in premium or luxury retail environments is preferred, with at least one year of direct sales or client-facing work; prior experience within a department store setting (shop-in-shop) is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational qualifications in retail, hospitality or luxury goods are a plus.
