Chanel in Montreal seeks a Sales Advisor to deliver luxury client experiences, drive sales and uphold brand standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, personalised client service and develop long-term relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets while contributing to overall store performance.
  • Present and maintain merchandise to Chanel visual standards, executing daily floor sets and seasonal installations.
  • Process transactions, manage returns and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and securely.
  • Manage client records and appointments; coordinate private viewings and in-store events as required.
  • Support stock management activities including receiving, replenishment and inventory control.
  • Uphold brand standards for housekeeping, product presentation and customer experience at all times.
  • Collaborate with store leadership on local marketing initiatives and knowledge-sharing to enhance team capability.

Qualifications

  • Proven customer-facing experience, preferably within luxury retail or premium service environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative selling approach and strong clienteling ability.
  • High standards of personal presentation and familiarity with luxury brand codes and etiquette.
  • Numerical literacy and accuracy in handling cash, payments and POS transactions.
  • Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
  • Fluency in French; proficiency in English considered an asset given the Montreal market.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or high-end client service, ideally with exposure to luxury brands; demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and cultivating repeat clientele.
