Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver attentive, personalised client service to an international and time-sensitive airport clientele, representing Chanel’s standards of hospitality and discretion.
  • Support the sales team in driving transactional performance: welcome clients, advise on product selection, process sales and handle secure payment procedures.
  • Maintain boutique standards: visual merchandising, presentation of product, replenishment and housekeeping to reflect brand heritage.
  • Participate in clienteling activities: update client records, follow up on enquiries and assist in appointment management.
  • Assist with stock management: receiving deliveries, inventory reconciliation and preparing items for sale.
  • Prepare and support fitting sessions, ensuring garments are presented and returned according to house protocol.
  • Contribute to promotional operations and airport-specific initiatives, adapting selling techniques to a transient, international customer base.
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding loss prevention, customs procedures and health & safety in an airport environment.

Qualifications

  • Current enrolment in a bachelor’s or master’s programme in Luxury Management, Fashion Business, Commerce or related field.
  • Possession of a French internship agreement (convention de stage) valid for the internship period.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a polished, client-focused manner and strong presentation.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with attention to detail and discretion.
  • Flexibility to work shifts that include early mornings, evenings and weekends typical of airport retail operations.
  • Prior retail or hospitality experience in a client-facing role is advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience

No prior experience is strictly required; however, any previous client-facing experience in retail or hospitality—particularly within luxury or premium brands—is considered a strong asset.

Education

Enrolment in a higher education programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Luxury Management, Fashion Business, Commerce or equivalent. Internship must be covered by a French convention de stage.
