Chanel in Paris seeks a Sales Intern — Fragrance & Beauty for seasonal holiday retail support; internship focused on client service and in‑store sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, personalised client service at the fragrance and beauty counter, building rapport and maintaining clienteling records.
  • Advise clients on perfumes, cosmetics and skincare, demonstrating product knowledge and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Support the store in achieving sales targets and conversion objectives during the seasonal peak.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions, returns and gift-wrapping in accordance with brand procedures.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure displays are stocked, lit and presentation-ready.
  • Assist with stock management: receive deliveries, perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate appointment bookings and follow up on client requests and after‑sales service.
  • Adhere to Chanel’s hygiene, safety and brand presentation protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a tertiary programme in business, marketing, luxury management, cosmetology or a related field, or equivalent vocational training.
  • Availability for the holiday period, including evenings and weekends.
  • Polished professional presentation and the ability to represent a luxury brand with discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a client-focused attitude and strong verbal communication.
  • Authorization to work in France (where applicable).

Experience

No minimum professional experience required; previous retail or beauty-counter experience in a luxury or premium environment is advantageous and will be positively considered.

Enrolled in or recently completed a tertiary programme (Bachelor, BTS, DUT) in Business, Marketing, Luxury Management, Cosmetology or equivalent vocational training.
