Chanel is hiring a Retail Sales Intern (Fashion) in Nice for a May 2026 start — client‑facing luxury retail internship in Nice/Cannes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and advise clients in a manner consistent with Chanel’s standards; build and maintain client relationships through proactive clienteling and appointment management.
  • Support daily boutique operations including merchandising, stock reception and replenishment, inventory checks and POS transactions.
  • Develop and maintain expert product knowledge across women's ready‑to‑wear, accessories and seasonal collections; communicate product features and craftsmanship to clients.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and presentation to ensure window and floor standards are met; execute seasonal resets under the direction of the store team.
  • Contribute to sales activity through upselling, cross‑selling and follow‑up communications; support boutique events and private client appointments.
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling, loss‑prevention and brand security procedures; prepare basic sales and client reports as required.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's programme in business, luxury management, fashion, marketing or a related discipline (required for an internship/stage).
  • Strong interest in luxury fashion, brand heritage and high‑touch client service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, polished presentation and discretion when handling VIP clientele.
  • Organisational aptitude with attention to detail for merchandising and stock tasks.
  • Fluent French; working knowledge of English is advantageous.

Experience
