Chanel seeks a Retail Sales Assistant (Apprenticeship) — Fragrances & Beauty in Neuilly‑sur‑Seine. Work‑study role starting October 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver attentive, brand‑aligned customer service and personalised selling to staff and invited clients in the internal boutique.
  • Operate the point‑of‑sale system accurately, manage cash and process transactions in compliance with Chanel procedures.
  • Maintain and present merchandise to Chanel visual standards through merchandising, replenishment and window/shop display upkeep.
  • Receive, unpack and control stock; support inventory counts, returns and sample management.
  • Support back‑office and administrative tasks related to sales reports, client records and appointment coordination.
  • Ensure product knowledge for fragrances and cosmetics and communicate benefits and usage with confidence.
  • Adhere to brand hygiene, merchandising and health & safety standards; participate in in‑store training and team briefings.

Qualifications

  • Eligible for an alternance (work‑study) contract and currently enrolled in a vocational programme in retail, commerce, cosmetics or a related discipline (BTS, Bachelor or equivalent).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a polished, client‑focused demeanour and professional presentation.
  • High motivation to learn luxury retail standards and Chanel product knowledge.
  • Flexible availability including some weekends and peak retail periods; reliable punctuality.
  • Right to work in France for the duration of the apprenticeship.

Experience

No prior professional experience is strictly required; any previous retail or beauty counter experience will be considered an advantage.
