Retail Sales Apprentice — Fragrance & Beauty (Staff Boutique)

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, personalised client service in the Parfums & Beauté boutique environment, upholding Chanel’s high standards of presentation and discretion.
• Advise clients on fragrance and beauty products, conduct product demonstrations and support clienteling activities to build long-term relationships.
• Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions and perform cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Maintain boutique merchandising and visual standards, execute merchandise replenishment and contribute to seasonal displays.
• Support stock management activities including stock counts, receiving deliveries and accurate inventory reporting.
• Participate in promotional events, internal sales initiatives and team briefings; complete administrative tasks and sales reporting as required.
• Work collaboratively with boutique colleagues to ensure seamless customer journeys and adherence to brand policies and loss-prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• Eligible for an alternance (apprenticeship) contract; currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary programme (BTS, Licence Professionnelle, Bachelor) in Sales, Commerce, Hospitality or Cosmetics.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in luxury beauty and fragrances.
• Professional presentation, discretion, and a service-oriented attitude appropriate to a high-end luxury environment.
• Basic numeracy and accuracy for transaction handling and stock reconciliation.
• Availability to start in September 2026 and to work a retail schedule including weekends and occasional evenings.

Skills

Experience

Suitable for candidates at the start of their retail career; previous customer-facing experience or an internship in beauty or luxury retail is advantageous but not mandatory.

Education

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary programme compatible with an alternance contract (e.g., BTS, Licence Professionnelle, Bachelor in Sales, Commerce, Hospitality or Cosmetics).
