Retail Operations Specialist
Chanel is hiring a Retail Operations Specialist in Stockholm to manage boutique operations, inventory and compliance.

Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure boutique operational excellence by enforcing Chanel standards for presentation, cleanliness, and client experience across all touchpoints.
- Manage inventory lifecycle: receiving, stock control, cycle counts, discrepancy investigation and coordination with logistics/warehouse teams.
- Oversee point-of-sale, cash handling and reconciliation procedures to guarantee compliance and minimise shrinkage.
- Coordinate merchandising and visual-set implementations in collaboration with the visual team to uphold seasonal guidelines and local adaptations.
- Prepare and analyse daily/weekly operational KPIs and reports; propose actions to improve sales productivity, stock turnover and store efficiency.
- Support staffing logistics including scheduling, timekeeping oversight and on-boarding for operational processes and systems.
- Act as liaison between store management, regional operations and corporate functions (logistics, loss prevention, IT) to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Drive compliance with internal policies, local regulations and luxury retail security protocols, including loss-prevention measures.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in retail operations within the luxury or premium fashion sector.
- Strong organisational aptitude with proven ability to manage inventory processes and operational workflows.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and frontline teams.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail in cash handling, reconciliation and compliance.
- Proficiency in English; Swedish language skills highly desirable for effective local stakeholder engagement.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3–5 years of progressive experience in retail operations or store management, preferably within a luxury or premium fashion environment. Prior exposure to multi-location coordination, stock control and operational reporting is expected.
Education
Vocational diploma in retail management, business or a related field; secondary education with significant retail operations experience will be considered. Bachelor's degree in business or retail management is an advantage.
