Chanel seeks a Retail Operations Manager in São Paulo to lead boutique operations, drive sales performance and uphold brand standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of boutiques within the assigned São Paulo territory, ensuring consistent execution of brand standards and client service.
  • Drive sales performance and operational KPIs through coaching, goal-setting and regular performance reviews with store leadership.
  • Manage P&L oversight for the region, coordinating budgeting, expense control and forecasting with finance and retail leadership.
  • Ensure inventory integrity and optimal stock flow by coordinating replenishment, stocktaking and reconciliation processes with supply chain and store teams.
  • Implement visual merchandising directives and ensure boutiques present a cohesive, elevated client experience aligned with global guidelines.
  • Recruit, develop and retain high-performing store managers and sales teams through structured training, talent reviews and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with loss-prevention policies, local regulations and corporate procedures, and lead audits and corrective actions as required.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing and e‑commerce to align in-store initiatives with product launches and promotional calendars.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership capacity with experience managing multi-unit retail teams and store managers.
  • Strong commercial acumen with prior responsibility for sales targets, KPIs and P&L.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate global brand standards into consistent local execution within boutique environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centric orientation.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism appropriate for a heritage luxury brand.

Experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality or a related field preferred.
