Role & Responsibilities
- Define and deploy the retail learning and development strategy for Watches & Fine Jewelry (WFJ) across Southeast Asia & Australasia (SEAA) and Singapore, aligning with global L&D priorities.
- Design, deliver and continuously refine blended learning curricula (onboarding, product, selling skills, leadership, compliance) tailored to WFJ retail teams and market nuances.
- Lead regional train‑the‑trainer programmes, certify local trainers, and provide direct coaching to store managers and talent pools to raise coachability and selling performance.
- Manage the region’s learning calendar, LMS administration, e‑learning content development and third‑party vendor relationships to ensure timely rollout and quality control.
- Set measurable learning KPIs, monitor impact on sales, conversion, clienteling and compliance, and produce regular performance and ROI reports for senior stakeholders.
- Partner with HR business partners, retail operations and merchandising to integrate learning into talent reviews, succession planning and promotional frameworks.
- Drive change management for new product launches, retail initiatives and service standards; ensure rapid upskilling ahead of regional rollouts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Psychology or related discipline; postgraduate degree or recognised L&D certification (e.g., CIPD, ATD) preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and scale retail learning programmes across multiple markets and languages, with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrable expertise in instructional design, facilitation and adult learning methodologies, including blended and digital learning formats.
- Experience managing external training vendors and e‑learning development partners; strong commercial acumen and budget oversight.
- High professional standards, discretion, cultural sensitivity and capacity to operate effectively within a luxury, client‑centric environment.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in learning & development within retail, ideally in luxury or premium brands; at least 2–3 years in a regional or managerial role. Prior exposure to Watches & Fine Jewelry categories and Southeast Asian markets is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Psychology or related field; advanced degree or recognised L&D certification preferred.
