Role & Responsibilities
- Support the corporate real estate legal team in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial leases, lease amendments and ancillary real estate contracts.
- Assist with due diligence, contractual documentation and legal aspects of property acquisitions, disposals and financings.
- Prepare clear legal memoranda, risk summaries and internal briefing notes for business stakeholders and senior counsel.
- Coordinate with external counsel, notaries and real estate advisors to monitor transaction timelines and deliverables.
- Manage contractual filing, update lease databases and ensure accurate record-keeping for the real estate portfolio.
- Contribute to regulatory and compliance workstreams related to planning, construction permits and property law obligations.
- Support cross-functional teams (property, facilities, retail operations) by translating legal requirements into practical guidance.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited law programme (Master's level preferred) with coursework or specialisation in property/real estate law.
- Strong academic record and demonstrable interest in corporate real estate matters.
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to legal detail, with ability to produce concise, business‑focused analyses.
- High level of discretion, professional integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, international environment and manage multiple priorities.
Skills
Experience
Internship-level role; previous internships in law firms or in-house legal teams with exposure to real estate or commercial contracts are advantageous but not required.
Education
Ongoing legal studies at Master's level (Master 1/2, LLM or equivalent), preferably with modules in property law, commercial contracts or corporate law.
