Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, document and enforce quality standards and technical specifications for outsourced ateliers and external suppliers.
  • Perform in‑line and final inspections of garments, leather goods and finished components; apply AQL sampling where appropriate.
  • Conduct supplier and atelier audits, assess production processes, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with suppliers.
  • Review technical packs, workmanship requirements and tolerances; approve pre‑production samples and production builds against brand standards.
  • Investigate quality non‑conformities, perform root‑cause analysis and track remediation actions to closure.
  • Collaborate with product development, sourcing, production and planning teams to integrate quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Prepare quality reports and KPIs for internal stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in textile/apparel engineering, materials science, industrial engineering or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of garment and/or leather goods manufacturing processes, materials and finishing techniques.
  • Practical experience performing supplier audits, inspections and implementing CAPA.
  • Excellent observational skills with a rigorous attention to detail and a commitment to luxury quality standards.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and supplier liaison.

Experience

Minimum 3 years' professional experience in quality assurance or quality control within apparel, leather goods or luxury goods manufacturing, with direct exposure to outsourced production and supplier management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or vocational diploma in textile/apparel engineering, materials science, industrial engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
