Chanel seeks a Quality & Regulatory Engineering Assistant (apprenticeship) in Paris — alternance starting Sept 2026 in the fashion quality team.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the quality and regulatory engineering team in defining and maintaining product technical files and specifications for fashion collections.
- Assist with laboratory testing coordination, sample inspections, and verification of compliance against internal quality standards and external regulations.
- Contribute to regulatory reviews for materials, trims and finished goods (labelling, safety, chemical compliance) and maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Track and report non-conformities, support root-cause analysis and corrective action plans in collaboration with suppliers, production and sourcing.
- Prepare technical reports, maintain quality logs and contribute to internal audits and supplier assessments.
- Monitor regulatory developments relevant to textiles and consumer goods and help implement required changes to processes or documentation.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in engineering, materials science, textile engineering, quality management or a related technical discipline.
- Strong analytical skills, rigor in documentation and attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally with design, sourcing, production and external laboratories.

Experience
Prior internship experience in quality assurance, product testing, regulatory affairs or a related role is advantageous but not mandatory; the position is structured for students in an alternating apprenticeship programme.
Education
Enrolled in a relevant technical or engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) in textiles, materials, quality, or related field.
