QC and Jewelry After-Sales Supervisor
Chanel — Taipei: QC and Jewelry After‑Sales Supervisor (Jewellery) role overseeing quality control, repairs and client service for fine jewellery.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day quality control and after‑sales operations for the jewellery line, ensuring all work meets Chanel’s technical and aesthetic standards.
- Supervise, coach and schedule a small specialist team handling inspections, repairs, polishing and client returns.
- Manage repair workflows and vendor/workshop relationships, including authorization, tracking, cost control and quality audits.
- Diagnose complex jewellery faults, define corrective actions and oversee technical escalations with in‑house or external ateliers.
- Own client communications for after‑sales cases: status updates, estimates, warranty handling and dispute resolution while preserving brand experience.
- Maintain accurate service records, stock of spare parts/components and generate periodic operational and quality reports for local management and HQ.
- Implement and uphold standard operating procedures, health & safety rules and brand security protocols for handling high‑value items.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or degree in gemmology, jewellery technology, horology, materials science or related field; professional certifications (e.g., GIA) preferred.
- Demonstrable supervisory experience within jewellery after‑sales, workshop management or quality control in a luxury environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of jewellery construction, gemstones, precious metals and common repair techniques.
- Proven ability to manage external suppliers and ateliers, including negotiation and quality assurance.
- Excellent client service orientation, discretion handling high‑value items and sound judgement in warranty/claims decisions.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of hands‑on experience in jewellery after‑sales, workshop operations or quality control, with at least some experience in a supervisory or team‑lead capacity within the luxury or premium retail sector.
Education
Vocational diploma or degree in gemmology, jewellery technology, horology or a related discipline; GIA or equivalent certification preferred.
