Chanel is hiring a Purchasing & Development Specialist — POS Materials in Neuilly-sur-Seine for a fixed-term contract in Perfume & Beauty.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement and development of PLV/POS (point-of-sale) materials and in‑store displays for the Perfume & Beauty division.
  • Source, qualify and manage relationships with suppliers and production partners, ensuring alignment with Chanel’s quality, sustainability and brand standards.
  • Define technical specifications, validate prototypes and supervise sampling cycles to guarantee fit-for-retail solutions.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, prepare purchase orders and control costs against budgets and price benchmarks.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Retail Operations and Packaging teams to synchronize launch schedules and installation plans.
  • Monitor production timelines, quality control, logistics and on‑time delivery; implement corrective actions when required.
  • Maintain procurement documentation, supplier scorecards and post-delivery performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, procurement, industrial design or equivalent professional experience.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes for in-store displays, print and structural POS materials.
  • Proven track record in supplier qualification, contract negotiation and budget control.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders under tight timelines.
  • High standards for quality, attention to detail, and familiarity with luxury-brand retail requirements.

Experience

Minimum 3 years’ procurement or purchasing experience, preferably within beauty, cosmetics or luxury retail, with demonstrated involvement in the development and industrialisation of POS/retail displays.

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, procurement, industrial design or equivalent experience.
