Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of boutique architecture projects — new store openings, refurbishments and phased roll-outs — ensuring adherence to brand standards, schedule and budget.
  • Develop and manage project programmes, detailed schedules and critical-path tracking; coordinate milestones with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
  • Oversee technical design review, approvals, construction documentation and procurement of FF&E and specialist finishes in line with Chanel specifications.
  • Manage tendering processes, contractor selection, contract administration and on-site execution including quality control and HSE compliance.
  • Control project budgets and cost reporting; prepare forecasts, change-order evaluations and commercial justifications for senior review.
  • Act as the primary interface between regional retail, store operations, creative/design and local authorities to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct site inspections, snagging, commissioning and handover; prepare installation guidelines and post-occupancy follow-up.
  • Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes and knowledge transfer across projects and markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering or Construction Management; professional registration or diploma advantageous.
  • Proven track record delivering retail or luxury boutique fit-outs, with demonstrated experience of full project lifecycle and complex interiors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in budget management, contract administration and procurement for fit-out projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and external consultants.
  • Familiarity with local statutory approval processes and construction regulations in the APAC region; travel-ready for site supervision.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) or formal construction management training is desirable.

Experience

Typically 5+ years of progressively responsible project management experience delivering retail fit-outs, boutique build-outs or interior construction projects, ideally including work for luxury brands and exposure to multi‑market roll-outs in the APAC region.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering or Construction Management; advanced degree or professional registration preferred.
