Production Planning Intern

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the production scheduling (ordonnancement) process for the Verneuil-en-Halatte manufacturing site, ensuring on-time order releases and sequence optimization.
- Maintain and update planning data and master schedules using the site's planning tools and ERP systems.
- Coordinate with production, procurement and logistics teams to follow up on order status, material availability and lead times.
- Prepare routine performance reports and KPI dashboards to monitor delivery reliability, lead times and capacity utilization.
- Contribute to root-cause analyses and continuous-improvement initiatives to reduce delays and improve schedule adherence.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects related to demand fluctuations, stock replenishment and process standardization.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a university programme (Bachelor's or Master's) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management or equivalent.
- Demonstrated analytical aptitude and attention to detail; ability to work with numerical data and schedules.
- Good interpersonal skills and capacity to liaise with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Availability for the full duration of the internship and legal authorization to intern in France (if applicable).
Skills
Experience
Previous internship or project experience in production planning, supply chain or manufacturing is advantageous but not mandatory; academic projects or coursework in ordonnancement, inventory management or operations are relevant.
Education
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management or related field.
