Product Marketing Intern — Fragrance & Beauty
Chanel Tokyo seeks a Product Marketing Intern — Fragrance & Beauty to support launches, market analysis and cross‑functional coordination.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the product marketing team on fragrance and beauty launches, including timeline coordination, sample distribution and launch logistics.
- Conduct market, competitor and consumer trend research to inform positioning, pricing and promotional planning.
- Prepare presentations, sales tools and product training materials for internal stakeholders and retail teams.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional partners (R&D, regulatory, sales, visual merchandising, digital and creative agencies) to ensure alignment on product briefs and go‑to‑market activities.
- Assist in the execution and reporting of consumer tests, in‑store activations and market pilots; track KPIs and produce post‑launch analyses.
- Support content preparation for digital and social channels and liaise with the digital team to monitor campaign performance.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Marketing, Business, Communications, Cosmetic Science or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in luxury beauty and fragrance, with an understanding of brand positioning and consumer behaviour in prestige markets.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and strict timelines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; polished presentation ability.
- Ability to work collaboratively with international and cross‑functional teams.
Skills
Experience
Previous internship or project experience in marketing, brand management, retail or the beauty industry is preferred. Practical exposure to product launch processes, consumer research or agency collaboration will be advantageous.
Education
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Marketing, Business, Communications, Cosmetic Science or a related field.
