Product Manager
Chanel seeks a Manager, Product (Soho) in New York — lead boutique assortment, merchandising and product launches to drive sales and client experience.

Role & Responsibilities
- Own assortment planning and product lifecycle for the Soho boutique, ensuring the right mix by clientèle, season and commercial objective.
- Translate global and regional buying strategies into localized merchandising plans and in-store presentation.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Buying, Planning, Supply Chain and Visual Merchandising to execute product launches, replenishment and transfers.
- Monitor sales performance and inventory KPIs; produce actionable analysis and adjust assortment, pricing and promotional tactics accordingly.
- Lead and coach boutique teams on product knowledge, clienteling and sales techniques to maximize conversion and average transaction value.
- Manage stock integrity, seasonal resets and store-level allocation to minimize shrinkage and optimize availability.
- Ensure adherence to Chanel brand standards in product presentation, client experience and loss-prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management or related field preferred.
- Proven leadership capability with the ability to coach and influence boutique teams and cross-functional partners.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience translating data into merchandising decisions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to luxury brand standards.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in luxury retail merchandising, product management or boutique operations, including demonstrated responsibility for assortment decisions and at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related discipline preferred.
