Product Manager, Business Intelligence — Sustainability & Solutions

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for sustainability-focused business intelligence solutions across the organisation.
- Collaborate with sustainability, supply chain, operations, finance and digital teams to translate regulatory and business requirements into BI features and KPIs.
- Prioritise and manage the product backlog; specify user stories, acceptance criteria and success metrics for analytics features and dashboards.
- Drive the design and delivery of data models, reporting pipelines and dashboards to support ESG reporting, carbon accounting and sustainability performance monitoring.
- Ensure data governance, lineage and quality standards are embedded in BI products and align with compliance frameworks and external reporting needs.
- Coordinate with engineering, data science and external vendors to deliver scalable, secure cloud-native BI solutions and integrations.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, change adoption and user training to maximise product uptake and business value.
- Monitor product performance, iterate on features based on user feedback and produce regular impact reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in product management or product ownership for BI/analytics solutions, preferably with exposure to sustainability or ESG topics.
- Demonstrable understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks and concepts (e.g., GHG accounting, ESG/CSR reporting, scope 1–3 emissions).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience aligning cross-functional teams and executive sponsors.
- Track record of delivering data products end-to-end, from requirements and prioritisation to launch and continuous improvement.
- Fluency in product development practices (roadmapping, backlog management, user story writing, KPI definition).

Experience
Typically 3–7 years in BI, analytics or data-product roles with at least several years leading BI initiatives; demonstrable experience working on sustainability, ESG or carbon reporting projects is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in data science, business, environmental science, engineering or a related discipline; master's degree or specialised training in sustainability, data analytics or product management preferred.
