Chanel in Paris seeks an Intern Product Assistant — Leather Belts starting July 2026. Internship supporting product development, sampling and production coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the product team across the full product lifecycle for leather belts, from concept and sampling to industrialisation and delivery.
  • Coordinate with design, prototyping ateliers, suppliers and production to manage samples, technical specifications and quality checkpoints.
  • Prepare and maintain technical packs, bills of materials (BOM), cost sheets and product datasets for internal review and approval.
  • Monitor production calendars, track sample progress and escalate delays or quality issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to trend and competitor research, materials scouting and seasonal line planning.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal presentations, line sheets and merchandising materials for buying and commercial teams.
  • Support cross‑functional communication with sourcing, quality, logistics and retail teams to ensure commercial readiness.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Fashion, Product Development, Luxury Management or a related discipline.
  • Availability to start in July 2026 for the duration of the internship placement (as required by the educational programme).
  • Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach to follow up and documentation.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling proprietary designs and supplier relationships.

Experience

Enrolled in a tertiary programme (Bachelor's or Master's) in Fashion, Product Development, Industrial/Technical Fashion, Luxury Business or equivalent.
