Chanel — Neuilly-sur-Seine: Product Assistant Intern, Fragrance (internship) starting July 2026 in Parfums Beauté.

Overview

Chanel is an international luxury house renowned for haute couture, ready-to-wear, accessories, and beauty divisions including fragrances. The Parfums Beauté arm operates within a heritage-led, design-driven organisation that combines artisanal savoir‑faire with rigorous product development and global retail presence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the product management team across the fragrance product lifecycle, from concept to commercial launch.
  • Draft and maintain product briefs, specifications and launch timelines; ensure alignment across R&D, packaging, regulatory and supply-chain partners.
  • Coordinate sampling processes and quality follow-ups with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Contribute to market and competitive analyses, synthesise consumer insights and prepare concise presentation materials for stakeholders.
  • Assist with cross-functional project tracking, meeting preparation, and documentation to ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required to support the Parfums Beauté product team.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in marketing, business, cosmetic science, packaging, or a related discipline.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and detailed project schedules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; discretion and professional maturity when handling confidential materials.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Passion for perfume and beauty products, and a clear interest in luxury brand management. Prior internship experience in beauty, luxury goods or FMCG is an advantage.
  • Fluent French with good working knowledge of English is strongly preferred.

Experience

Enrollment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate programme; previous internships or project work in beauty, luxury goods, FMCG, or product development are advantageous but not mandatory.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Cosmetic Science, Packaging, or a closely related field.
