Chanel — Haikou: Perfume & Beauty Store Manager (Duty‑Free). Lead boutique sales, team and operations for Chanel fragrances and cosmetics.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead boutique commercial performance for Chanel fragrance and beauty in the Haikou duty‑free location, driving sales, conversion and average transaction value.
  • Recruit, coach and develop boutique sales consultants; establish schedules, targets and performance reviews to sustain a high‑performing team.
  • Ensure flawless brand presentation and visual merchandising in accordance with global Chanel standards, adapting displays for duty‑free retail conditions.
  • Manage inventory, stock replenishment and shrinkage controls; coordinate inbound shipments and stock transfers with operations and the duty‑free operator.
  • Implement clienteling strategies and maintain high‑value client records to foster repeat business and long‑term relationships.
  • Own daily boutique operations including cash handling, POS/CRM oversight, compliance with duty‑free regulations and loss prevention protocols.
  • Monitor KPIs and financial metrics; prepare sales reports and collaborate with regional management on forecasting, promotional planning and assortment decisions.
  • Act as primary liaison with airport/duty‑free partners and internal cross‑functional teams (logistics, marketing, training) to ensure operational alignment.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience in luxury retail, ideally within fragrances, cosmetics or duty‑free environments.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and managing boutique P&L drivers.
  • Strong leadership and people development skills with experience in recruitment, training and performance management.
  • Excellent knowledge of fragrance and beauty product categories, trends and client profiles.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak travel periods; commitment to high service standards and brand integrity.
  • Professional fluency in Mandarin; working knowledge of English is advantageous.

Experience
