People Solutions Manager (Workday)

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead design, configuration and continuous improvement of Workday modules and core people solutions to meet HR and business requirements.
- Own release management, testing cycles and deployments for Workday updates, coordinating cross-functional QA and rollback plans.
- Partner with HR COEs, Talent, Payroll and IT to translate business needs into system specifications and scalable processes.
- Maintain governance, security and data integrity within the HRIS; implement controls, audits and reconciliation procedures.
- Develop and deliver training, documentation and change management for HR teams and business stakeholders.
- Produce and maintain key HR reports and dashboards; collaborate with analytics teams to surface actionable people insights.
- Manage third-party vendors and integration partners; oversee SLAs and delivery quality for Workday-related projects.
- Act as subject-matter expert in Workday for incident resolution, configuration decisions and roadmap prioritisation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading Workday implementations, configurations or optimisation programmes; Workday certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes (talent, payroll interfaces, absence, org structures) and HRIS governance.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed, international organisation.
- Track record of delivering projects on schedule with disciplined testing and release management.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to produce clear documentation and deliver training to diverse audiences.
Skills
Experience
Minimum five years' experience in HR systems, with multiple full lifecycle Workday activities (implementation, configuration, releases). Experience within large, matrixed or retail/luxury organisations is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
