People & Organisation Coordinator
Chanel in Madrid seeks a People & Organisation Coordinator to support HR operations, talent initiatives and employee administration.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support end‑to‑end People & Organisation (P&O) activities including onboarding, offboarding, contract administration and employee lifecycle documentation.
- Coordinate recruitment logistics: liaise with hiring managers, schedule interviews, manage candidate communications and maintain applicant records.
- Maintain and update HR records and people data with exacting confidentiality, ensuring compliance with GDPR and local labour law.
- Produce regular people reports and HR metrics to inform workforce planning and business stakeholders.
- Act as operational liaison with payroll, benefits vendors and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely execution of people operations.
- Support learning & development and internal mobility initiatives by coordinating training schedules, enrolments and follow‑up.
- Assist with employee relations casework, escalation tracking and preparation of related documentation for managers and HR Business Partners.
- Contribute to P&O projects and change initiatives, preparing communications, meeting materials and project trackers as required.
- Organise internal events, staff communications and recognition activities that reinforce culture and employee engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related discipline preferred.
- Professional demeanour, high discretion and proven ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong understanding of Spanish labour legislation and practical HR administration in Spain.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders across functions.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and PowerPoint); experience with HRIS platforms advantageous.
- Fluent Spanish; professional working proficiency in English highly desirable.

Experience
Typically 2–4 years in HR or people operations, preferably within retail, luxury fashion or a fast‑moving consumer environment; hands‑on experience with HR administration, payroll liaison and recruitment coordination.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field; postgraduate HR qualification or CIPD equivalent is a plus.
